Description
The Corporate Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging non‑technical training programs. This includes orientation, customer service skills, software training, leadership development, and other soft‑skill or service‑support learning initiatives that improve employee performance and support organizational goals.

Duties And Responsibilities- Promote and model safe work practices in all aspects of the job.
- Build strong partnerships with peers, managers, and cross‑functional teams to support training effectiveness and departmental growth.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to document training requirements and secure course approvals.
- Develop assessment strategies and create both computer‑based and instructor‑scored assessments.
- Design instructional content for online, virtual, and instructor‑led learning formats.
- Create and update instructional materials, course documents, facilitator guides, learner guides, and presentations.
- Maintain course content, manuals, and training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Facilitate engaging, learner‑centered training sessions that clearly communicate concepts and build practical skills.
- Deliver one‑on‑one, group, and virtual training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Provide refresher and follow‑up training for existing employees as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on learner engagement.
- Experience designing skill‑based assessments.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development for multiple training modalities.
- Strong time management and classroom facilitation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate (or other HTML/SCORM‑compliant authoring tools), Clipchamp.
- Experience in delivering customer service training (retail or call center environments).
- Experience training users on software platforms.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for course upload, tracking, and reporting.
