Highland High School is seeking a passionate and committed individual to serve as the Head Coach for Boys Wrestling
. This position is essential to the continued growth and success of the boys wrestling program and plays a critical role in promoting athletic excellence, personal development, sportsmanship, and school pride.

• Previous high school wrestling coaching experience is preferred but not required
• Experience working with high school students in an athletic or mentorship capacity
• Demonstrated ability to develop athletes at various skill levels
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

The following certifications must be completed and uploaded to  
upon job offer and prior to completing a criminal background check
:

• Coaching Endorsement (PE/Coaching Degree or NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching")
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
• NFHS "Concussion in Sport"
• NFHS "Sudden Cardiac Arrest"
• NFHS "Heat Illness Prevention"
• NFHS "Bullying, Hazing, and Inappropriate Behaviors"
• Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
• Utah Educator Professional Standards (Read and E-sign)
• Annual Salt Lake City School District Athletic Coach Training
• SLCSD Vector Trainings (to be completed after hire and before beginning any coaching responsibilities)

Upon appointment,
SLCSD FERPA/Student Privacy trainings will also be required. For questions regarding certifications or trainings, please contact the school’s Athletic Director.
