Job Summary

Will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing tasks for the OEM Program pertaining to the administrative functions of Graduate Medical Education, Occupational Medicine (OM) residency program and Occupational Medicine Residency Clinics in the Division of Occupational Environmental Health; performs all functions with timeliness and accuracy; acts as a catalyst between the OEH division, RMCOEH, and its customers and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.

Responsibilities
  • Complete day-to-day operations of the OEH Division Occupational Medicine (OM) Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program and provide support for all necessary functions including purchasing, managing budgets, contracts, compliance with ACGME policies and program requirements.
  • Be an active member of the Division central administration team and provide support for Occupational Medicine Programs, including support of faculty meetings, events and consulting and invoicing processes.
  • Market to external parties for OM and GME programs.
  • Support the Residency and OM Directors in the areas of administrative functions, evaluations, credentialing, resident recruitment, program accreditation, and human resources.
  • Facilitate cooperative and collaborative community and institutional relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Program Specialists, I:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master’s (or equivalency) degree.

Program Specialists, II:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.

Program Specialists, III:
Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
