Division of Graduate Education and Advanced Practice (GEAP)
Full-time, 1.0 FTE
- Teach didactic content in classroom and/or online settings within graduate specialty tracks.
- Supervise students in clinical settings and facilitate simulation‑based instruction.
- Contribute to program development, writing or revising curriculum.
- Serve on college committees and participate in professional activities/service.
- Develop clinically focused scholarship to support retention and academic promotion.
- Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing and hold a current Utah APRN license or be eligible for licensure.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a health‑related field and a PhD or DNP degree.
- Teaching experience in classroom, clinical, and simulation settings (preferred).
- Relevant health care experience and established clinical expertise (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner).
- Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to reside in Utah and work on‑site at the College of Nursing and/or health care facilities in the Salt Lake Valley.
Faculty will be expected to contribute to program development, write or revise curriculum, serve on college committees, and participate in professional activities/service. Development of clinically focused scholarship is expected for retention and academic promotion.
