Adjunct faculty are contracted to teach generalist and specialist content throughout College of Nursing programs (pre‑licensure, RN‑BS, MSN, DNP, PhD) and Gerontology Interdisciplinary Program (GIP) on a semester‑by‑semester basis.
Qualifications- All adjunct faculty must hold a Master’s degree or higher and, depending on the assigned teaching role and program, hold an active license to practice nursing (e.g., RN, APRN) in the State of Utah. Decisions about whether adjunct faculty are educationally and experientially prepared for an assigned teaching role are made on a case‑by‑case basis.
