Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Associate Dean and course supervisors, the adjunct faculty member will teach one to three sections of lower-division General Education dance courses, offered in-person and/or online. Course assignments may include ballet, jazz, modern, and/or tap dance. This is a pooled position. The department reviews applications as positions become available. This position is paid at $1,056 per instructional unit.

Official transcripts are required for those who are offered employment within in 30 days of hire.
- A master's degree in Dance or a closely-related field and preferably, experience teaching dance classes at a college level. Graduate students can apply with recommendations of professionals in their program.
Graduate-level knowledge and/or equivalent professional experience in dance technique, theory, and history with strong teaching methods and effective communication skills.
