Academic Advising & Student Services
The Transfer Pathways Student Success Advisor serves as a dedicated bridge between Utah’s technical colleges and Utah State University, connecting students at every stage of their educational journey to the degree pathways, resources, and people who can help them succeed. This is a high-touch, student-centered role focused on guiding prospective, current, and transferring technical college students toward stackable degree options, from technical certificates to associate degrees, and from associate degrees to bachelor’s degrees.
Rather than functioning as a traditional academic advisor, this position acts as a facilitator and connector, building relationships, removing barriers, and linking students to the advisors, departments, and institutional resources that will help them achieve their goals. The Transfer Pathways Student Success Advisor is an advocate for students, for stackable degree programs, and for the partnerships that make transfer possible.
