Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an
** Inspection & Repair Operator
** located in
** Salt Lake City, UT.
** Reporting to the
** Engineering Supervisor,
** the
** Inspection & Repair Operator
** role supports operations on unscheduled events, works closely to the Process Engineering Team on new projects, and documents daily tasks.
** What a typical day looks like:
*** Calibration and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
* Installation and modification of workstations.
* Create / modify work instructions.
* Layout and tooling design.
* Support new product introduction activities.
* Leading improvement projects.
* Monitoring, auditing and providing guidance to line operators.
* Processing test runs and preparing records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
* Providing technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
* Line change configuration.
** The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
*** At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (electronic components is preferred)
* Electro-mechanical knowledge, electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.
* Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
* Able to work with and communicate cross functionally with operations, quality and other departments.
* Ability to speak and understand English.
