Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Technician located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The BIM Technician will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) to support construction and design development. Day-to-day tasks will include developing and maintaining construction drawings, assisting with MEP coordination, and supporting structural engineering and building services processes. Collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders in the project lifecycle is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related software
- Experience with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM environments
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and building design processes
- Knowledge of building services and structural engineering principles
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in resolving design and coordination challenges
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with construction codes, industry standards, and compliance protocols
- Associate or bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
