GIS Intern; Summer

Position: GIS Intern (Summer 2026)

In the role of GIS Intern, we'll count on you to:

* Create high quality maps using ArcGIS Pro

* Collect data from the internet, agencies, field work, etc..

* Preform spatial analysis for NEPA documents

* Create and publish maps in ArcGIS Online

* Preform fieldwork including GIS data collection

* Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals' programs

* Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS software packages related to field of study/industry

Pursuing a degree in Geography, Planning, Computer Science, or closely related field

* Local candidates preferred

Required Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program

* Attention to detail

* Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills

* Basic Microsoft Office skills

* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
