Service and Support
The Product Support Engineer/Specialist is a field based position. You can live anywhere in the South/SW (TX, KS, OK, UT,) as long as you are close to a major airport.
The TeamWe are a highly motivated team with deep experience in customer service. We recognize the developing and changing nature of customer need, and we continuously adapt and improve ourselves to support customers in solving their problems.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Product Support Engineer/Specialist, you will perform the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of Bruker Analytical x-Ray products.
Duties will include
- Analyze malfunctioning x-ray equipment and determine corrective action. Replace faulty components and make necessary adjustments and alignments.
- Install analytical x-ray equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to written P.M. procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports covering all job activities with accuracy and detail.
- Participate in on-the-job training of field service personnel when required.
- Suggest methods to offer improvement to equipment performance and functionality.
- Travel up to 80% in North America.
- Provide repair and training support for Madison, WI office as requested.
- Between assignments be available during normal working hours for immediate response to reassignment and telephone support.
- Remain in contact with assigned customers to ensure that there are no unreported problems.
