Process Engineer

We are a global manufacturer of specialty process materials for the composites industry, supplying vacuum bagging and kitting solutions across Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Marine, and Automotive sectors from their growing Salt Lake City facility.

This is a floor-forward engineering role where you’ll translate drawings into 3D models, support technicians through daily production challenges, and serve as a key technical resource for both the team and customers. • Convert engineering drawings into 3D models, flat patterns, and machine coordinates using
• Work side-by-side with technicians on the production floor — first-piece inspections, pattern layout, Mylars, and real-time troubleshooting
• Author standard work instructions and maintain engineering records, specifications, and
• Engage directly with customers in design reviews and technical discussions (~20% of time); travel to customer sites as needed (~15–20% once established)
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce waste, improve throughput, and

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Composite, or related discipline (required for drawing sign-off)
• 1–5 years in a manufacturing or process engineering setting; new grads with strong CAD skills and hands‑on drive are welcome
• Solid 3D modeling skills; CATIA a plus, Solid Works or AutoCAD accepted — what matters most is your ability to think spatially and work accurately
