Project Civil Engineer (Site / Land Development)

• Lead the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects
• Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion & sediment control from concept through completion
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, including stormwater management and water quality compliance (SWPPP)
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables are met
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships
• Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client growth
• Collaborate with office leadership on team growth and utilization
• Mentor and guide junior staff within a team-oriented environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 6+ years of experience in site/civil land development
• Strong background in grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Knowledge of local Utah land development processes and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through construction documents
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
• Ability to mentor, lead, and contribute to a growing team
