Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for leading the integration and/or test of system components to ensure electrical and physical compatibility and achieve program technical, schedule, and cost objectives. Supports system design activities through the integration and testing of COTS-based electromechanical systems from initial design and development through documentation, installation, and final commissioning.
Essential Functions- Develop and maintain test procedures and test process documents
- Perform root cause analysis on failures
- Perform failure trend analysis
- Perform engineering level debug on the product in test labs
- Reoccurring engineering related Test Readiness Reviews
- Maintain government/customer furnished equipment
- Manage tools and test equipment to support the production floor
- Test machine maintenance and repair
- Out‑of‑tolerance reporting for test equipment
- Secret level clearance or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Experience in Python and other related languages
- Experience with lab safety and materials handling
- Experience with U.S. government contracts and related procedures
- Experience with RF theory and transmission strategies
- Experience with test and measurement equipment and limitations
- Experience with chemical and mechanical engineering
- Proficiency with intergroup and intra‑group interactions and reporting
