Job Description
In this role you will provide Structural 3-D CAD/Modeling Engineering support to the A-10 PROGRAM OFFICE within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hill AFB AFB, Utah
.
The applicant shall provide support for the development, procurement, sustainment and modification of aircraft structures systems, sub-systems, components and equipment.
The applicant shall provide system engineering expertise in structures design and integration, manufacturing, quality and industrial engineering, airworthiness, and configuration and data management.
Support the development and maintenance of critical structures systems engineering documentation including but not limited to specifications, system requirements documents, and systems engineering plans. The applicant shall also support the translation of requirements into weapon system applicant documents and procedures to ensure the robust application of systems engineering processes across all program development, production, and sustainment tasks.
Provide technical expertise on all aspects of aircraft structural integrity and airworthiness. The applicant shall also be knowledgeable in requirements prescribed in the current version of MIL-HDBK-516 to assist in providing support for requirements compliance assessment in the areas of durability and damage tolerance, aircraft loads, material processes and standards, corrosion protection, and structural dynamics.
Required SkillsDue to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
A High School Diploma plus 13 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 7 years or a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience is required.
Requires an active Secret security clearance.
