Compensation: $105,000 - $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails.
  • Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects.
  • Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and coordinate with other design disciplines on projects.
  • Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder coordination, and sub-consultant management.
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with attention to quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering license in the state of employment or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
  • 5-10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria.
  • Proficiency using Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software.
  • Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures.
  • Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project assignment.
