CAD Designer​/Modeler

Job Summary

B.H. Inc. of Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a full‑time CAD Designer/Modeler to design, model and detail moderately complex projects while working closely with our Engineering and Fabrication teams. This position is based in Vernal, Utah.

• Design, model, and detail 3D models and drafted plans and details following design codes and regulations.
• Prepare 3D coordination models for construction teams.
• Draft structural steel fabrication detailed plans.
• Assist engineering teams in preparing designs and construction plans in Civil 3D, Revit, Inventor, Solid Works or other software.
• Communicate project details with engineering, survey, VDC, and fabrication teams, identify and address potential issues promptly.

• 4+ years of professional experience using Autodesk CAD and 3D modeling software (Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Tekla, SDS, Inventor, etc.).
• Experience with civil, architectural, MEP, process design and detailing preferred.
• Problem‑solving, excellent interpersonal, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, team player.

• Civil design and detailing, survey related plat drafting and mapping systems.
• Architectural and structural design using Revit or similar software.
• Structural steel fabrication detailing and API/ASME tank and pressure vessel detailing.

• Salary range $60,000 to $85,000, negotiable.
