Currently seeing a qualified mechanical designer. Successful candidates will be members of a highly motivated, multi-disciplined, cross‑functional design engineering team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Electro‑mechanical packaging and design
• Modification of existing and/or creation of new designs including electro‑mechanical racks, shelters, enclosures, ground & airborne chassis and circuit card assemblies (CCA’s) and 3U/6U modules
• Ensure new designs progress while meeting technical requirements and EVMS schedules and budgets
• Ability to travel 5% of standard work week
• Must be able to obtain a US security clearance as a job requirement
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of electro‑mechanical designs

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of mechanical design experience. In lieu of degree, minimum of 8 years prior related experience

• GDTP certified (technologist level)
• Proficient knowledge of CAD – Siemens NX (Design center) experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiar with the following open standards: VITA, VME, PMC, ASME Y14.5‑2018
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required
• Strong work ethic; maintain a sense of urgency to ensure commitments to both schedule and budgets are met
