Responsibilities- Coordinating with the cross‑functional Change Management team to define the scope of work required to qualify new or modified products to customer specifications related to source changes.
- Coordinating with ISC, Operations, and Engineering to manufacture batches of material for source change qualifications, placing orders for required quantities and ensuring proper process control documents.
- Writing test panel fabrication instruction paperwork for laminates, sandwich panels, or any other material forms required for testing.
- Reviewing testing progress, updating expected completion dates, and elevating any lack of priority to management for resolution to keep testing on schedule.
- Maintaining complete traceability of all elements of a qualification project.
- Authoring complex engineering test reports.
- Interfacing directly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide status updates, resolve conflicts, and facilitate reviews of reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field from a four‑year college or university.
- 2–3 years of related experience within manufacturing and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with material specifications and their applications; ideal previous experience or knowledge of polymers within aerospace manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of PCs and related software, specifically MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and statistical software (Minitab).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in project management and the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong time‑management skills.
