Electrical Integration Team Lead

Lead the team that turns engineering designs into reality. Great engineering isn't just about designing systems—it's about making sure those designs can be built, installed, and delivered successfully. As an Electrical Integration Team Lead, you'll lead a team responsible for the integration of electrical equipment throughout our vehicles, helping bridge the gap between engineering and production. From electrical cabinets and cable routing to installation documentation and manufacturing support, your team's work plays a critical role in bringing modern passenger trains to life.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and solving complex engineering challenges. You'll work closely with engineering, production, project management, and global teams to ensure our vehicles are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Why This Role Is Exciting
  • Lead and develop a growing team of engineers and designers.
  • Influence how electrical systems are integrated into next-generation passenger trains.
  • Drive engineering improvements that directly impact manufacturing efficiency and vehicle quality.
  • Collaborate with international teams and contribute to projects across North America.
  • Play a key role in adapting global designs to North American rail standards and requirements.
  • See your team's work come to life on real vehicles serving communities for decades.
What You'll Be Doing

You'll lead the Electrical Installation and Schematics teams, helping ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers and designers.
  • Supporting the integration of electrical cabinets, enclosures, cable ducts, grounding systems, and wire harnesses into rail vehicles.
  • Overseeing the creation of installation drawings and production documentation.
  • Driving continuous improvement efforts based on production and field feedback.
  • Supporting the adaptation of designs to North American railway standards.
  • Planning resources and coordinating team workloads across multiple projects.
  • Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and engineering deliverables.
  • Establishing and improving engineering processes, standards, and work instructions.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and maintain project objectives.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for a leader who combines technical expertise with a passion for developing people and improving how work gets done. Qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation planning, electrical design support, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Strong experience with CATIA V5 or similar 3D modeling platforms.
  • Experience with Zuken E3 is a plus.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience is highly valued.
  • Understanding of production processes, installation documentation, and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within international teams.
  • Rail industry experience is a plus, but candidates from aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial equipment, manufacturing, and other complex engineering industries are encouraged to apply.
