In this role, the Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing Component Cost Estimation, Supplier Collaboration and Negotiation, Supplier Development & Management. The primary focus will be on optimizing costs, fostering effective collaboration with suppliers, and enhancing the performance and relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the component cost estimation process to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for components.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and agreements that benefit the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage and improve relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance supplier performance.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross functional teams on cost estimation, collaboration, negotiation, and supplier development.
- Strong analytical skills to accurately estimate component costs.
- Knowledge of cost estimation tools and methodologies.
- Supplier collaboration and negotiation expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Ability to develop and execute supplier development strategies.
- Strong project management skills to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Relevant certifications in Supply Chain Management or Procurement are a plus.
Maximum Salary (US): 122000 Minimum Salary (US): 80000
Compensation and BenefitsA candidate's pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
