Lab Technician

Client: Medical Device Company

Position: Lab Technician

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 12-Month contract

Hours per week: 40

Shift: 1st Shift

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US citizens or GC holders only)

• Provide solid technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products.
• Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.
• Execute technical and cross-functional project work.
• Understand customer needs through literature review, competitive analysis, prototype evaluation, and clinical / simulated use studies.
• Support engineering of robust and manufacturable products through strong understanding and application of engineering fundamentals.

• A minimum of 1-year experience with operation of material and/or chemical analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, UV-VIS, FTIR, DSC, TGA).
• Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports that comply with company policies and local, regional, and federal regulations.
• Strong technical communication skills.
• Associates degree or higher in STEM (chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering).
