The Mechanical Engineering:
Design for Excellence, MCAD, & Interconnect group is seeking a Chief Technologist to join their team. The Chief Technologist will be responsible for aligning hardware engineering innovation with Enterprise, Segment, and Sector business strategy and technology roadmaps. This individual is responsible for providing context to the DFX engineering team.

This role will be responsible for:

• Building a network with Business Development, Strategy, PMO, SE, and other Functional Engineering Chief Technologists to learn and share the DOD challenges that require cost-effective, innovative engineering solutions to meet both current and emerging threats.
• Following and sharing relevant company intel, market intel, customer intel, and technical intel with the team.
• Create and maintain relationships and partnerships with local Universities to develop/advance new technologies.
• Supporting bid/proposals, new development programs, sustainment programs, and Continuous Improvement (CI) up to 80%.
• Knowledge of the technology industry and familiarity with leading and emerging competitors.
• A broad understanding of RF communication and data link systems for air, ground, maritime, weapons and space; including antennas, radio front ends (RFEs), frequency converters, modems, and equipment racks.
• Experience with DFX (Design for Excellence), (e.g. DTC, DFMA, DfSC, etc.)
• Experience with generation, review, and/or approval of mechanical engineering pursuit products.
• Experience in leading/influencing engineering teams from concept through product delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.

Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
