Job Schedule:
9/80 – employees work 9 out of 14 days, totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
- Contact vendors to obtain vendor data sheets as needed.
- Research vendor data sheets to obtain necessary information to complete tasks.
- Follow internal guidelines and processes to create symbols, cells, and 3D models.
- Work with design engineering to customize and update symbols, cells, and 3D models as requested.
- Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing are met.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of 3D CAD experience.
- Willingness to learn PCB design and Design Engineering.
- Practical knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation.
- Experience with ECAD software applications and related equipment. Specific experience with Siemens EDA (formerly Mentor Graphics) Xpedition software is desired.
- PCB design experience (layout, schematic).
- PCB/CCA manufacturing experience.
- Experience with NX or similar 3D CAD modeling software.
- Experience with Teamcenter or equivalent PLM software.
- IT troubleshooting experience to help with managing the backend of software tools used in designing PCBs.
