Civil Engineer – Land Development with significant drafting experience

Company is seeking a full‑time/permanent/in‑house Civil Engineer/drafter to join our Land Development team. The role involves working on a wide variety of projects, including multi‑family, retail, and commercial developments. Design concepts are turned into construction drawings and technical specifications using engineering judgment.

• Perform design services related to conceptual roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Provide project support to other engineers, including planning and organizing technical information, preparing reports, and performing calculations.
• Provide construction field support services.

• At least five years of direct civil engineering design experience with an emphasis on multi‑family, retail, commercial, or industrial site development projects.
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated significant experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification a plus but not required.

Salary: $90k – $140k base plus bonus potential.
