Duration: 12 Months Contract with possible conversion
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Role Overview:Responsible for preparing piping/mechanical fabrication drawings and civil site plans for gas distribution pipeline projects, including stations and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and update CAD drawings (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, etc.)
- Prepare pipeline alignment, profile drawings, and construction documentation
- Support project coordination, reviews, and status reporting
- Provide facility data, mapping, and drawing support to internal/external stakeholders
- Assist with research for existing facility modifications
- Interpret field notes, surveys, and as-built drawings
- Ensure accurate and detailed design documentation
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, etc.)
- Understanding of pipeline drawings, alignment sheets, and basic P&
- Knowledge of basic math, geometry, and surveying principles
- Associate degree or certificate in CAD/Drafting or equivalent experience
- 0–2+ years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license (preferred/required as applicable)
- Basic knowledge of industry standards and compliance practices
