We're looking for a DAS Field Engineer (DAS Integrator) to support the commissioning, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of Public Safety and Commercial Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). This is a hands‑on field role working alongside design engineers, installers, and project managers to deliver high‑quality in‑building wireless solutions.
What You'll Do- Conduct site surveys and collect wireless signal measurements
- Commission DAS systems to OEM specifications
- Perform live signal integration and system startup
- Troubleshoot DAS systems, including fiber‑optic RF and copper communication links
- Review and interpret sweep and PIM test results
- Perform DAS acceptance testing and field validation
- Process field data and prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Interface with routers, switches, DAS controllers, and wireless carrier signal sources
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, field teams, customers, and end users
- Travel occasionally (approximately 25%)
- Working knowledge of iBwave design software
- Experience using RF field test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, RF scanners, optical light source & power meters, etc.)
- Experience with at least two DAS OEM platforms such as:
- Corning
- JMA/TEKO
- SOLiD
- Comm Scope
- Public Safety DAS commissioning experience
- Experience interpreting sweep and PIM test results
- Working knowledge of 3G, 4G, and 5G RF technologies
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Fiber Optic certifications
- Ookla Wind software certification
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills
