Supplier Performance Lead - Lvl

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supplier Performance Lead at NGMS-Salt Lake City, UT to support our Business Unit – Propulsion System & Controls.

• Lead focal point for NGMS‑SLC for PS&C programs responsible for monitoring performance in the areas of quality, on time delivery, and corrective actions; ensure recovery plans are established and executed aggressively.
• Control Account Manager (CAM) for PS&C programs for the NGSM‑SLC IWO accounts, reviewing earned value data inputs and reports and analyzing performance deviations.
• Request, dispatch, and oversee cross‑functional resources as required, including supply quality, engineering, procurement, and other program resources.
• Utilize LEAN techniques to identify potential process improvements to improve lead‑times and reduce costs.
• Evaluate and advocate for supplier and company‑initiated changes, coordinate appropriate testing and validation as required.
• Proactively identify schedule and technical risks including sub‑tier suppliers, manufacturing, technical and supply risks, and coordinate risk management activities to reduce or eliminate them.
• Develop supplier‑specific metrics to track and monitor health at given suppliers.
• Assist project team and supplier in request for quotes, contractual notifications, negotiations, and coordinate supplier responses.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering and/or technical discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience (or 8 years with a Masters) in defense or aerospace systems and/or management in development or production projects.
• Experience with Defense or Aerospace Industry.
• Demonstrated success in leading projects and/or processes to achieve projects cost, performance, and schedule requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors.
• Ability to travel domestically.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

• Demonstrated experience in supply chain management on a major program.
• Master’s Degree in a Business or Technical field.
• PMP Certification.
• Demonstrated experience in interfacing seamlessly with functional teams, customers, and major subcontract parts in an IPT structure.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.

Primary Level Salary Range: $ – $. The above range serves as a general guideline;

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
