Responsibilities- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or related) with at least 2 years of relevant years of experience; or Bachelor's degree in HES related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a process industry; or High School diploma or GED with 10 years of relevant experience in a process industry
- Working knowledge and experience implementing process safety elements
- General understanding and application of the process, process hazards, corrosion mechanisms and safeguards for the type of facility/unit(s) assigned
- Understands and applies qualitative and quantitative process safety risk evaluation methods on simple scenarios and processes (e.g. MOC, PHA, LOPA, risk calibration, facility siting)
- Understands PSM and RMP regulatory requirements as well as industry recommended practices related to process safety.
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment sponsorship now or in the future.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft: word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
