Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive testing efforts to confirm product performance, quality, and overall system readiness.
  • Develop detailed testing documentation, evaluation procedures, and success metrics that support engineering objectives and quality expectations.
  • Design, build, and improve automated test equipment, fixtures, instrumentation, and validation environments.
  • Support the development and operation of advanced validation equipment, including control systems, sensors, motion technologies, and test automation hardware.
  • Build and support comprehensive validation platforms that integrate diverse technologies to simulate real-world system operation.
  • Perform a wide range of product evaluations to assess functionality, reliability, environmental performance, and long-term durability.
  • Evaluate testing data, troubleshoot technical issues, and partner with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.

    Drive improvements in automated testing, data quality, repeatability, and overall validation efficiency.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve product designs by incorporating efficient testing and validation considerations throughout development.
  • Support manufacturing validation efforts, production troubleshooting, supplier qualification activities, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain thorough technical documentation, test reports, and engineering records throughout development and production.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable area of study.
  • 8+ years of experience performing testing, validation, or system evaluation for complex engineered products.
  • Strong background applying industrial controls, automation technologies, and instrumentation within advanced engineering or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical foundation in integrated hardware platforms, measurement systems, automated controls, and formal product validation practices.
  • Experience planning and leading comprehensive validation efforts across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience using a variety of engineering laboratory equipment and diagnostic tools to support product testing and performance evaluation.
  • Knowledge of structured product validation practices, reliability assessment, risk analysis, and systematic problem-solving techniques.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering, operations, and production teams throughout the product development process.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting the development of complex, high-performance products within advanced engineering or technology-driven industries.
  • Working knowledge of engineering design software used to develop custom tooling, fixtures, or support equipment.
  • Experience working within regulated manufacturing or high reliability product environments.
