Focus
  • Drive the design and implementation of advanced electrical systems for highly engineered technology platforms.
  • Design high performance PCBAs while incorporating Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and EMI EMC best practices.
  • Partner with mechanical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Perform architecture evaluations, component selection, and technical trade studies to improve system capability, manufacturability, and long term reliability.
  • Create and execute test strategies, evaluate performance data, and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Support laboratory characterization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product validation throughout development and production.
  • Guide PCB layout activities, review complex board designs, and optimize signal integrity, power distribution, and overall hardware performance.
  • Assist manufacturing teams with production test strategies and transition designs into volume manufacturing.
  • Support sustaining engineering efforts including component lifecycle management, design improvements, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation, bills of material, and product lifecycle records.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 9 years designing and supporting electrical systems across multiple stages of product development.
  • Extensive experience developing sophisticated printed circuit board hardware for advanced electronic applications.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard electronic design practices, PCB development tools, and hardware optimization methodologies.
  • Broad experience working with multiple technologies commonly used in advanced electromechanical, embedded, or autonomous systems.
  • Experience using SPICE based simulation tools for circuit analysis and validation.
  • Proficiency using laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and electronic measurement equipment.
  • Experience using Python, or another programming language, for hardware test automation, data acquisition, or engineering analysis.
  • Strong understanding of analog, digital, mixed signal, and power electronics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross functional engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven background developing embedded hardware solutions for advanced engineering applications requiring exceptional reliability.
  • Familiarity with engineering verification, design validation, and regulatory compliance testing.
  • Experience supporting products through manufacturing launch and sustaining engineering.
