We are looking for an
Engineer
- Maintenance

to support the delivery of business objectives through the application of defect elimination, root cause analysis, project management, and technical support of on-site maintenance execution, operations and project teams.

Reporting to the
Reliability & Maintenance Engineer Manager
and in a collaborative community, you will be:

  • Engineering and troubleshooting support of maintenance execution and operations teams
  • Identification, ownership and implementation of initiatives to deliver improvements in safety, asset performance, and cost
  • Capital project validation and delivery support
  • Initiation and facilitation of root cause analysis to mitigate acute and chronic asset failures
  • Reconciliation of production loss accounting data

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred), or 5 years of equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering maintenance roles
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives and projects
  • Experience with Defect Elimination processes and Root Cause Analysis methodology
  • Experience working in a fixed plant environment, failure analysis, and smelting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP or equivalent CMMS
  • Lean Six Sigma methodology experience or Black Belt Certification
