Rio Tinto’s Kennecott Copper Mine near Salt Lake City invites a Senior Engineer, Geotechnical to lead the Operational Geotechnical engineering team. You will report to the Principal Advisor, Geotechnical, and work Monday–Friday with a mix of office and field duties, guiding slope design, TARPs, and risk assessment.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate across operations and planners, review geotechnical data, and support safety-focused decisions with stakeholders and external reviewers.
