Assistant​/Associate​/Professor in Biomedical Imaging

Position Overview

The University of Utah seeks world‑class leaders in Biomedical Imaging for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor opening (exceptional candidates may be considered for other ranks). The appointment will be primarily within the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering, with a secondary or adjunct appointment in the Department of Radiology & Imaging Sciences in the School of Medicine.

General areas of interest include Biomedical Imaging Hardware Development and Biomedical Signal and Image Processing across all imaging modalities. Specific high‑interest areas are Image Guided Therapy and Interventions, as well as AI and Computational Imaging.

The applicant is expected to hold an appointment in the Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research (UCAIR) and may interface with the Scientific Computing & Imaging (SCI) Institute, facilitating multidisciplinary collaborations across imaging, visualization, high‑performance computing, simulation, and data science.
