Job Overview
Join Ramboll's Environment & Health department as a Senior Managing Consultant focusing on environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance across the western United States.
Your New RoleResponsible for leading environmental due diligence and compliance projects, including merger and acquisition due diligence, Phase I ESAs, Phase II projects, and environmental permitting in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, and Montana.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and completing environmental due diligence assignments.
- Managing and assisting with environmental compliance reviews.
- Supporting clients with compliance permitting, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects; managing project budgets and client deliverables.
- Reviewing site investigation reports and providing conclusions and recommendations.
- Preparation of technical reports that effectively communicate findings.
- Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.
- Designing and executing complete projects of substantial size and complexity.
- Conducting independent technical analyses and directing technical analyses of others.
- Independently preparing draft work products and reviewing/editing work products of others.
- Playing a significant role in client contact and leading client discussions.
- Developing clients independently.
Collaborate with a creative group spanning all technical levels, from entry-level team members to seasoned experts, within a continual learning environment through coaching and mentoring.
About YouAdditional qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Degree in environmental or civil engineering preferred.
- At least 12 years of experience managing clients’ environmental due diligence projects and environmental compliance reviews.
- Experience in environmental investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.
- Experience in multimedia compliance support.
- Experience developing proposals and cost estimates, managing project budgets, and managing client communications.
- Willingness to travel periodically on short business trips (1-2 days) across the U.S.; driver's license and air travel required.
