Professional Engineer

J-U-B Engineers, Inc. () seeks a Professional Engineer with a focus on water and wastewater treatment to join our employee-owned team in Meridian, Idaho. In this role, you will plan, design, and deliver municipal water and wastewater treatment projects that serve communities across the Inland Northwest and Intermountain West. Responsibilities include treatment process and hydraulic design, modeling, preparation of plans, specifications, and reports, and coordination with clients and regulatory agencies.

You will support construction, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure.
• Perform analyses, modeling, and technical calculations for treatment processes and hydraulic systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, and internal teams to define scope and deliverables.
• Support permitting, funding applications, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Provide construction-phase services including submittal review and field support.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff on design tasks and standards.
• Contribute to proposals, level-of-effort estimates, and project schedules.
