Job Overview:
Pay Range: $57.00hr - $62.00hr Requirement/Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4+ years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4+ years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8+ years of prior related experience. Minimum of 2+ years of experience with CCA and Hardware Design experience. Minimum of 2+ years of experience with hardware verification, schematic capture, and PCB Layout.
Experience in laboratory debug techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS, and other complex measurement devices. Familiarity with lab test equipment. Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git or Clear Case. Familiarity with Confluence or other information sharing tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of communications systems through board-level integration of high-speed digital components, commercially available chipsets, and embedded processors. Perform product design including schematic capture, simulations, PCB analysis, and layout. Document designs from requirements, testing procedures, and bill of materials. Perform detailed performance and functional measurements and debug at a hardware level. Create custom Circuit Cards utilizing FPGAs, Embedded Processors, networking components, and other electronic components.
Conduct performance characterization of hardware over a wide variety of environmental conditions. Use industry standard interfaces including 1GE, 10GE, 40GE, 100GE, SPI, UART, SDRAM, DDR3, DDR4 JESD, PCIe, and 1000
BASE-T. Support test engineering with the transition of hardware to manufacturing testing. Contribute to design reviews and system integration. Architect, design, develop, modify, evaluate, and integrate electronic equipment, parts, components, or integrated circuitry for complex, high-performance hardware systems. Nice to Have:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience with Mentor Graphic's tools.
