Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Senior Roadway Project Manager in our Transportation business unit in Salt Lake City, UT. This position requires 10+ years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels
- Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
- Lead planning, design and delivery of roadway and highway improvement projects.
- Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
- Prepare and write engineering and other reports
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships
- Develop business in the Utah region
- Experience working directly with the Utah Department of Transportation and local municipalities
- Licensed professional engineer in Utah, preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience using at least one CADD platform (Micro Station or AutoCAD)
- Knowledge of at least one highway design package (Open Roads, Geopak, or Civil3D)
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must complete a background check

SALARY RANGE:Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $110,000 - $155,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
