Position: Box Office Seller- The Depot

Overview

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders:
Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. This role is with Live Nation’s Concerts Division, supporting operations, ticketing, and guest services for live events.

Responsibilities
  • Financial / Cash Handling:
    Ensure compliance with Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and procedures; balance and reconcile daily/nightly ticket sales; assist Manager/Supervisor in reconciliation of cash drawers and ticket stock; assist in pricing initiatives (Progressive, Platinum, Dynamic, Flex Pricing; Value Channels & Special Ticket Offers) when applicable; assist in distributing accurate daily ticket counts to Artist Representatives; assist in internal Ticket Orders and Reports;

    work with Premium Seat Sales/VIP on nightly upgrades, primary inventory, reports, etc.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service in person and over the phone; facilitate night-of-show Will Call & Guest List Operations; troubleshoot night-of-show issues (transfers, barcode, account issues, etc.); assist with ADA requirements in coordination with Guest Services/Operations; provide knowledge of upcoming events and upgrades; maintain positive energy.
  • Other Responsibilities:

    Daily operations on Ticketmaster host system for sales and other tasks; follow opening and closing shift procedures; maintain standards for ticket types, ancillary events and qualifiers; maintain box office phone system and calendars of events; assist in maintaining box office cleanliness; follow dress code (business casual); update spreadsheets (Ticket Stock Log, Vault Log, etc.); collect, store and track Lost & Found;

    assist Manager & Supervisor with tasks as they arise; may require 3rd party venue offsite coverage including night-of-show management and equipment needs; ensure compliance with ADA ticket laws.
Qualifications Required
  • Knowledge of Cash Handling
  • Knowledge of Phone & In-Person Customer Service
  • Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends and holidays)
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
  • High School Diploma
Preferred
  • Attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment
  • Knowledge of ticket sales
  • Experience in working in live entertainment operations
  • Ticketmaster host system experience
  • Experience in identifying counterfeit cash / IDs
