Job DescriptionThis position helps make gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church.
The purpose of this position is to support all aspects of fleet operations. To provide safe, reliable and clean transportation for departments, employees, and General Authorities, who use cars from the Motor Pool.
Responsibilities- Clean exterior and interior of Church owned vehicles to include: windows, white walls on tires, floor mats, vacuum interior, chamois dry.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on oil and other fluid levels, belts, hoses, tire pressure, detect unusual noises, and inspect for exterior body damage to include the undercarriage.
- Assist in Motor Pool office.
- Pick up and deliver Church owned vehicles to vendors. Pick up parts.
- High School Graduate with some college or vocational training, plus 2 years of work experience (preferably in maintenance or automotive industry).
- Must be able to move equipment and parts weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Will be working with cleaning chemicals and supplies most of the time.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be well‑groomed, and provide great customer service.
- Must have a valid driver license; ability to stand for long periods of time; basic computer skills; and good communication skills.
