Concerts, festivals, community events, and other live gatherings need great people behind the scenes. Join our Salt Lake County event team and help create a safe, organized, and welcoming experience for every guest who walks through the gate.
This is a great opportunity for dependable, outgoing people who enjoy working with the public.
What You Will DoDepending on the event and your assignment, you may:
- Welcome guests and scan or collect tickets
- Conduct bag checks according to event procedures
- Direct guests to seats, entrances, exits, or event areas
- Monitor access points and verify credentials
- Answer questions and provide friendly customer service
- Help maintain orderly lines and guest flow
- Observe your assigned area and promptly report concerns
- Follow venue rules, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions

- Punctual, dependable, and ready to work
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable assisting the public
- Attentive to their surroundings and able to follow procedures
- Positive and respectful. even during busy or challenging situations
- Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods
- Prepared to work in changing indoor or outdoor conditions
- Able to reliably arrive at assigned event locations
- Willing to follow all dress code, grooming, and uniform requirements
Previous event experience is helpful, but is not required. A strong work ethic, professional attitude, and commitment to showing up on time are what matter most.
