Ford Motor Credit Company has received regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions for customers across the country to finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, and software.

The Team

Join the ground floor of building a de novo Bank and setting the foundation of the Bank’s Compliance Team. As a Compliance Analyst (Monitoring and Testing), you will perform monitoring and testing activities, prepare documentation demonstrating the effectiveness of your results, collaborate with leaders and colleagues across the organization to understand and evaluate key Bank and vendor processes and activities, and drive continuous improvement in our compliance posture.

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer (Banking) responsible for driving visibility, understanding, and consistency for addressing risks and providing risk‑based information to help facilitate decisions and to ensure Ford Credit Bank meets corporate and compliance objectives. You will lead the effective execution of the bank's Compliance Management System (CMS), strategic development, meticulous implementation, and ongoing maintenance of critical compliance components, and oversee generation of essential compliance reporting.

Responsibilities
  • CMS Development & Execution:
    Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Bank’s CMS.
  • Policy & Procedure Management:
    Oversee creation, review, and updating of all compliance‑related policies and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment:
    Execute periodic and ad‑hoc compliance risk assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate controls.
  • Compliance Training:
    Design, implement, and manage a bank‑wide compliance training program.
  • Reporting & Governance:
    Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Regulatory Liaison:
    Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, including responding to inquiries, examinations, and audits.
  • Technological Integration:
    Leverage GRC systems to efficiently manage compliance information.
  • Innovative Solutions:
    Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes, including AI‑driven solutions.
  • Team Leadership:
    Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to compliance team members.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Identify compliance issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in banking or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in banking compliance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading team members.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
