Job Description- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders – Business, Engineering, Operations and Credit. Actively engage, partner and drive changes, providing excellent service and support.
- Deliver transactions within agreed time-frames as per SLAs while improving processing quality, reducing errors, and inculcating a zero‑error culture.
- Proactively manage operational risk inherent in business.
- Ensure all operational risk issues are identified and mitigated appropriately and proactively.
- Ensure adequate operational controls to manage non‑generic business.
- Monitor and book recall requests on GS borrows from different lenders.
- Monitor and book returns on GS loans to external counterparts.
- Monitor and book/amend returns on open borrows based on counter‑party feedback.
- Monitor and book returns that get cancelled due to issues with GS/Vendor systems.
- Inform the trading desk daily about all borrows that have been recalled but not returned.
- Resolve queries and interact with trading desk and lenders on recall/return requests.
- Agree to deliver/receive margin based on stock borrow/loan settlement and mark‑to‑market activity.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies of positions (cash and securities) in the firm’s books and records.
- Complete and oversee the daily checklist ensuring all controls, procedures and processes relating to the assigned functions are followed.
- Act as a change agent, solving problems at root cause and taking opportunities to automate flows.
- Experience with in Securities Lending.
- Self‑driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible team player able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand technical workflows in detail.
- Previous project management experience or the ability to identify and drive process improvement.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
