Financial Solutions Advisor – Advisor Development Program (Centralized Segment)
As a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program, your journey begins by obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66). Once you obtain your licenses, you will receive training to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, assess complex financial pictures, and provide holistic financial advice and solutions that meet clients’ goals.
Financial Solutions Advisors are phone‑based licensed advisors who provide clients with holistic financial advice and guidance by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings, and liability management needs. You will align Merrill and Bank of America products and services, and after successful completion, progress into the next stage as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain the required securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) within the specified timelines.
- Build client relationships, review investment goals, and prepare investment recommendations aligned with client objectives.
- Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive financial advice, deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to all solutions across Bank of America and Merrill.
- Participate in training and coaching programs within the Academy to grow business knowledge and refine consultative approach.
- Maintain regulatory compliance, including applying relevant due diligence and adhering to SAFE Act requirements.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
