Overview

Hiring Securities Settlements Analyst for Leading Investment Bank

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Duration: 6-12 Months conversion to permanent highly possible

Pay Rate: $23/hour

? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Operations team supporting global markets and developing expertise in the trade lifecycle, securities settlements, and risk management.

As a Securities Settlements Analyst
, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions across the Americas. You ll collaborate with multiple business partners, support client transactions, identify process improvements, and help maintain the highest standards of operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end settlement of securities transactions across multiple asset classes.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle by partnering with business, middle office, legal, compliance, and external stakeholders.
  • Review and process asset transfers, company distributions, and client transactions with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure transaction details are accurately captured and processed in accordance with established procedures.
  • Identify operational risks and control gaps while recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve settlement issues and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that strengthen operational controls and enhance the client experience.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, risk mitigation, and timely execution in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Recent graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or professional experience in financial services, banking, operations, or securities processing.
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle or capital markets is a plus.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a high-performance environment.
