Investment Operations Specialist

Russell Tobin is seeking a highly organized and analytical Investment Operations Specialist. This role focuses on investment oversight, operational support, risk monitoring, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure efficient business operations and high-quality client deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoys working with teams across Operations, Trading, Risk, and other business functions.

• Support investment oversight and operational processes within Asset & Wealth Management.
• Produce accurate and customized client materials with exceptional attention to detail.
• Analyze operational data and assist with reporting and process improvements.
• Partner with product groups, operations, trading, and risk teams to support daily business activities.
• Monitor operational controls and assist with risk management initiatives.
• Help identify workflow improvements and support operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting while meeting business deadlines.
• Utilize Excel and other technology platforms to analyze and manage operational data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Preferred 1–5 years of professional experience.
• Previous experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry preferred.
• Advanced or highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Experience with risk management concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Python, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is preferred.
• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA is a plus.
