Financial Operations Analyst; recent graduates

Russell Tobin is seeking an AWM - Operations - XIG Investment Oversight Analyst to support one of our leading financial services clients in Salt Lake City, UT
. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their career in investment operations and financial services.

Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)

• 1–5 years of professional experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with experience producing accurate, customized client materials.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

• Previous experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry.
• Ability to collaborate across product groups, regions, and functional teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and data-gathering skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of risk management concepts and operational controls.
• Experience building tools or dashboards to monitor portfolio exposures, limits, and risk.
• Experience partnering with trading, operations, and risk teams to improve workflows.
• Strong client service mindset with experience supporting transactions and operational reporting.
• Quantitative skills with experience using Excel, Bloomberg, Python, or Tableau are a plus.
• CFA designation or progress toward CFA is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous experience in Financial Services is highly preferred.
