• Manage and execute month‑end close process, including booking and approving journal entries and preparing & approving reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger in Epicor, sub‑ledgers, reports and account mappings.
• Serve as Epicor accounting system and ARM PO system subject‑matter expert; manage upgrades and troubleshoot issues.
• Act as Project Manager for business migrations (Chart of Accounts mapping, bank account setup, supplier/customer onboarding).
• Account for compensation and benefits expense, ensuring accurate payroll, benefits, commissions, recruiting and contract labor processing.
• Oversee customer billings, accounts receivable, collections, deferred revenue accounting, inter‑group & inter‑company accounting, cash accounting and bank account reconciliations.
• Supervise prepaids, lease accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable, AP accruals, budgeting and forecasting.
• Enter reporting data into HID management reporting systems (Oracle & One Stream).
• Manage sales and use taxes and administer the Avalara Ava Tax system.
• Prepare income tax, property tax, sales tax and 1099 reports.
• Maintain mandatory business licenses and supplier/customer master records.
• Review finance details of all purchase orders.
• Handle treasury activities: approve pay runs, ACH batches, wires; manage bank relationships, signatory updates, account openings/closings.
• Manage corporate cards and Travel & Expense reporting system.
• Manage payroll and payroll tax reporting.
• Prepare fluctuation analyses.
• Implement and document internal controls and procedures.
• Support annual internal control assessment and audit processes.
• Advise on accounting function and system enhancements as business needs evolve.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting as required.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (equivalent education with experience acceptable).
• Minimum 10 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer‑service, organizational, follow‑up, and tracking skills.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented, and effective communicator.
• Decisive project‑management skills with planning and execution capability.
• Experience with database management, automated reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Epicor Kinetic Accounting System.
• Proficiency in Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable using web browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox).
