A leading global financial firm is hiring a Trade Settlements Analyst to support their markets operations function out of Salt Lake City, working across trade processing, client transfers, and risk controls for a wide range of institutional clients.
You'll spend your first months learning how trades move from execution to completion, partnering with teams across the business, legal, compliance, and middle office along the way.
What You'll Be Doing:- Get hands‑on exposure to the full trade lifecycle by coordinating across internal and external teams
- Double-check transaction records for accuracy before they're finalized
- Partner with other departments to keep asset transfers and distributions running smoothly for clients
- Flag inconsistencies or gaps in current workflows and suggest ways to fix them
- Bring fresh ideas to the table for improving day‑to‑day processes
- Prior exposure to financial services a plus (internship or full‑time)
- Sharp analytical skills and a genuine interest in process and accuracy
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non‑technical partners
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Bonus: familiarity with post‑trade processing or asset transfer work
