Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Prepare financial models, variance analyses, and management reports.
Support monthly and quarterly close processes with analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand business drivers.
Help identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
Maintain and enhance Excel-based models and reporting templates.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field, preferred.

Qualifications:
Experience

1+ years in Financial Analyst or similar role preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VBA, VLOOKUP, basic modeling).
Familiarity with financial statements and key financial metrics.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
Experience with financial software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Vena, or Looker) is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $60-$68k Annually + DOE & Bonus Opportunity! The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
